This past summer, Calvary Presbytery designated November 1, 2025 as a day of Kingdom Prayer for the local church ministries of the presbytery. Toward that end, the Mission to North America Committee of the presbytery put together a simple Kingdom Prayer Guide with requests from the various churches. You can find the the Guide by clicking here or the button below.
Common prayer requests listed in the Guide concern the raising up of officers (Elders and Deacons), especially for our smaller and/or more remote churches within the presbytery. There are also a number of special outreach ministry efforts listed as prayer requests. Of course, we pray that the Lord would continue to increase our collective membership through new births (physical and spiritual) and the conversion of our neighbors. May God draw unto Himself all His people to glory in His presence and praise Christ our risen Savior!
We recommend that you consider fasting throughout the day to add urgency and intensity to your praying, as you are physically able to do so. We do not recommend physical fasting to children, expectant mothers, any who are fighting an illness, and those who have to exert themselves physically. For more on fasting and its proper occasions, click here.
We also recommend that you retain the Kingdom Prayer Guide for future use as you continue to pray for the churches of Calvary Presbytery in weeks and months to come. The presbytery will routinely revisit and update the Guide, as needed.
Finally, do not forget to change your clocks tonight (“fall back”) as we move from Eastern Daylight Time to Eastern Standard Time.
